Welcome to Cornerstone Bible Church’s website. March 11, 2012, Cornerstone Bible Church began holding Sunday services in Clinton, Utah. While our church building is located at 1448 N 2000 W#9 in Clinton, the church itself is made of believers in Jesus Christ. Cornerstone Bible Church exists to reach the lost with the gospel of Christ, to aid in the maturity and development of the followers of Jesus Christ, and to train leaders who will guide the church as they follow Christ Jesus.
We invite you to explore our website and inquire about who we are as a church. Cornerstone Bible Church is a church plant of Biblical Ministries Worldwide.
Here are a few of our core beliefs:
We believe the Bible to be the Word of God, without error in the original manuscripts, and is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. We believe in the literal, historical, and consistent interpretation of Scriptures. (Matthew 5:18; John 16:12, 13; 2nd Timothy 3:16, 17; 2 Peter 1:19-21)
We believe in one Triune God, eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections. God is spirit, from everlasting to everlasting the same, the direct creator of all things, omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. (Deuteronomy 6:4; 2nd Corinthians 13:14; John 4:24; Psalm 90:2; James 1:17; Revelation 19:6; John 1:3; Colossians 1:16, 17)
We believe the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His substitutionary death, His bodily resurrection, and His imminent second coming. He is God’s only begotten Son, and the only person of the Godhead man has ever seen. (Luke 1:35; John 1:1, 2, 14, 18; Romans 3:24, 25; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 2:9; 1st John 2:2; John 1:18)
We believe the Holy Spirit is the person of the Godhead who in this present age convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment; who regenerates and baptizes into the body of Christ those who believe; and who indwells and seals them unto the day of redemption. The Holy Spirit is the Divine Teacher who guides believers into all truth and it is the privilege of believers to be filled with, and their duty to walk in, the Holy Spirit. (John 16:8-11; Romans 8:9; 1st Corinthians 12:12-14; John 16:13; Galatians 5:16; Ephesians 5:18; 1st John 2:20, 27)
We believe that all men are sinners by nature and by practice, and are in need of a Savior. That salvation is the result of faith alone, good works having no part in securing this gift. The blood of Christ, shed for us on the cross, paid completely the price of God’s punishment for sin. (Genesis 1:26, 27; Romans 3:22, 23; 5:12; Ephesians 2:1-3, 8,9; John 1:12; 3:16; Romans 10:9, 10, 13)
We believe that every true believer is eternally secure. That he cannot lose his salvation, but that sin may interrupt the joy of his fellowship with God and bring the loving discipline of his Heavenly Father. The Bible clearly forbids the use of Christian liberty as an occasion to the flesh. (Romans 8:1, 38, 39; 13:13, 14; Galatians 5:13; Titus 2:11-15; 1st Peter 2:13-20)
