Paul the apostle wrote the young pastor named Timothy,
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
What better Sunday to begin a time of prayer and communion at Cornerstone Bible Church than the Sunday we celebrate the triumphal entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem? From 9:15 until 9:45, all who are interested are welcome to join us to worship in prayer. If you have any prayer requests, let us know ahead of time, or during the time of prayer.
The first Sunday of every month will be communion Sunday at CBC. So during the 10:00 am service, the grape juice and bread will be passed to remember the death of Christ. 1 Corinthians 11:23-34 give us instruction concerning the manner in which God’s local assembly is to partake of communion, the challenge is to be prepared if you are a believer in Jesus Christ.
We would love you to join in the collective worship of our Great God and Savior Sunday! With a time of prayer beginning at 9:15 am and our Sunday morning worship beginning at 10:00 am. More information is available here on our website, at our facebook page, or by contacting us directly.
